From June 23 to 25, the 9th CFCF Optical Connection Conference and the 2024 Annual Optical Communication Most Influential Product Awards Ceremony, hosted by Fiber Optic Online, Chord Industry Research Center, and Jiangsu Communication Society, was held in Suzhou. After a comprehensive and rigorous review by the Chord Information Industry Research Center and a panel of experts, Potron was listed on the influential list for its outstanding innovative products.

 

The 50G PON Symmetric Temperature OLT TPM series was awarded the "2024 Innovative Product Award"

On the evening of June 24, the "2024 Most Influential Awards Ceremony" kicked off, and the "50G PON Symmetric Temperature OLT TPM series" product from Lizi Optoelectronics stood out and was awarded the "2024 Innovative Product Award [Optical Component Category]." This product was the only category of optical active devices that won an award at this ceremony.

Potron 50G PON series products can achieve a downstream rate five times that of XGS-PON, with a power budget of up to 32dB. Compared to the 10G GPON series, in addition to the bandwidth increase, it also builds the comprehensive service bearing capacity of 50G PON around dimensions such as low latency and network slicing. The product is mainly applied to FTTH/FTTCell/FTTB/C/FTTCab/FTTdp, and also newly added the application of 5G mobile fronthaul, which not only enriches the application scenarios of the optical access network but also promotes the further maturity of the industry. At present, the product can be shipped in small batches and has been tested and verified by several major equipment manufacturers at home and abroad, and is expected to be mass-produced and shipped by the end of the year.

 

The 112G SFP112 SM LPO series was shortlisted for the "Annual Innovative Product Award" list

According to the report of Fiber Optic Online, since the launch of the "Annual Innovative Product Award," it has attracted 179 new products from more than 130 enterprises in the optical communication industry chain, of which only 56 products were shortlisted, and 11 optical module products were shortlisted, among which the "Low Latency Optical Module 112G SFP112 SM LPO series" product from Potron was on the list.

SFP112 is an SFP package with a smaller size and a larger panel bandwidth density, using a 100G channel on the electrical side to connect with the switch or router port. SFP112 LPO uses linear direct drive technology to replace the traditional DSP/CDR, achieving the advantages of system power reduction and latency reduction, mainly applied to the field of optical modules that require high speed and low latency such as 5G Wireless and Datacenter. The technical feasibility of this product has been verified in practice and has become a key focus of top technology companies at home and abroad.

 

The 400G QSFP-DD FR4 series passed the "400G/800G High-Speed Optical Module Interoperability Test"

During the CFCF2024 Optical Connection Conference, Potron was invited to participate in the "400G/800G High-Speed Optical Module Interoperability Test" initiated by Fiber Optic Online and led by Jiliu Technology. The "400G QSFP-DD FR4 series" optical module products sent by Potron passed the test on four switches: Cisco C8111 32E, Jiliu IW-9616-32D, Nvidia QM9790+ network card CX7, and H3C S9827, and the signal integrity was excellent. Through this test, it highlights the excellent signal transmission quality of Potron' optical module products and fully verifies the safety, openness, and reliability of Potron' products in the data center link.
