The world's first 100G SFP112 LPO series product from POTRON is a 100G hot swappable series optical module with the smallest package size, which can support high-density applications of routers/switches. At the same time, it replaces traditional DSP/CDR with linear direct drive technology (LPO), which has the advantages of reducing power consumption and latency in system applications. The release of this series product may become an upgrade solution for the next generation of 100G transmission networks.

In short distance transmission, the POTRON 100G SFP112G LPO SR module adopts the world's leading 100G/lane TIA and VCSEL drivers, and the optical engine adopts COB scheme. The module power consumption is less than 1.2W, and the power budget meets 100m transmission; In medium to long distance transmission, the POTRON 100G SFP112G LPO DR/FR/LR module uses 100G/lane TIA and EML drivers, with a power budget that meets the transmission distance requirements of 500m, 2Km, and 10Km. The optical devices are packaged in EML TOSA/ROSA, and the module power consumption is less than 2W. The 100G SFP112G LR has completed 10Km fiber transmission testing in the customer's laboratory, with a BER better than E-06, providing favorable data support for the commercialization of module products.

At this exhibition, POTRON specially set up a multi-mode TX EYE testing area and a single-mode 10Km Fiber BER testing area at the booth to showcase the performance advantages of SFP112 LPO.
